School History
Corporation Primary School was established in 1975. It was officially opened on 7 October 1976 by Mr Tang See Chim, then Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Choa Chu Kang. On 16 November 2001 the school was relocated from Boon Lay Avenue to a new building at Jurong West Street 24.
The school celebrated the official opening of its new campus on 8 July 2003. The new campus was officially opened by Dr Amy Khor, Member of Parliament for Hong Kah GRC. On 12 September 2008, the school’s heritage corner was declared opened. The special hub is intended to help our pupils and teachers understand and appreciate the school’s past history, and know it has impacted on the present and future. The school celebrated its 35th anniversary in December 2010 as a key milestone in its educational journey. In 2015, the school marked its 40th anniversary in November with a musical at the NUS Cultural Centre. In 2020, the school celebrated its 45th anniversary on 20 November with a virtual celebration due to COVID-19 situation.
The school has been under the leadership of 8 principals since its inception.
