CPS Volleyball Boys Clinched the 2nd among 25 Schools

13 Aug 2015 by Ms Chiok Hwee Fen

Our Volleyball boys emerged 2nd among the 25 schools which participated in the Soft Volleyball Competition this year. This annual competition was organised by Pei Chun Public School for the P3 and P4 players to instil in them a passion for the sport at a young age.

We met schools like Pei Chun, Yu Neng, Anderson and Jun Yuan in the first round of which we lost to Pei Chun. We went on to the quarter finals and fought hard with Qi Fa, Nan Hua and Yumin and we lost to Qi Fa Primary.

We proceeded to the semi-finals and won Pei Chun with a close score of 15-13 and subsequently met Qi Fa Primary at the finals again and eventually lost to them with a score of 9-15. Their team comprised all P4 pupils and our team are mainly P3 pupils. It is indeed a great exposure and good experience for our little ones and they had done us really proud.

We will look forward to more exciting games in the West Zone next year.
