CPS Celebrates Chinese New Year

19 Feb 2015 by Ms Patricia Sin

CNYFor Chinese New Year this year, CPS celebrated the year of the goat with a wide range of activities. Our pupils were immersed in the festive atmosphere as the celebration first took off with a classroom decoration competition as everyone put in their best creative efforts.

There was also lantern making which was part of the CCE family time, when pupils and their parents bonded over making beautiful lanterns that were displayed all around the school.  As Chinese New Year approached, the PSG also came down to engage our pupils in fun recess activities such as quizzes and craft making.

The final concert held for the pupils on 18 February was certainly a blast to end off the whole event with a series of game shows, lion dance and sing-along sessions. Everyone had a red packet too as a form of well-wishes from the school. Hopefully, this year’s Chinese New Year has been a memorable experience for everyone in the CPS family!
