CPS Celebrates Chinese New Year

15 Feb by Ms Patricia Sin

CNYHappy Chinese New Year to everyone! CPS welcomed the Year of the Monkey with a wide range of activities. Our pupils were immersed in the festive atmosphere as the celebration first took off with treasure hunts to spot the cheeky monkey around school to win prizes for the Monkey Year! Everyone also put in their best creative efforts when it came to the classroom decoration competition.

As part of CCE family time, our pupils and their parents also bonded over making beautiful monkey crafts that were displayed all around the school. Much appreciation and thanks to our PSG members as well, who came down to engage our pupils in making some crafts for their own homes during recesses.

The final concert held on 5 February was indeed a blast to end off the whole event with a skit put up by our very own pupils, lion dance and sing-along sessions. Everyone had a red packet too as a form of well-wishes from the school. Hopefully, this year’s Chinese New Year has been a memorable experience for everyone in the CPS family!
